DENVER - September 6, 2006 - Governor Bill Owens has reappointed Colorado Springs business leader Greg Jenik to the board of directors of the oversight authority for the state’s official Web portal (www.Colorado.gov). Mr. Jenik is the Chief Operating Officer of TAEUS International Corporation, a leading provider of engineering-based intellectual property professional services. He is one of two representatives from the private sector to serve on the Colorado Statewide Internet Portal Authority board of directors.
"Greg Jenik has been and will continue to be an important member of the Statewide Internet Portal Authority," said Governor Owens. "Greg’s skill set and the experience he has gained during the past two years will allow him to continue to help lead Colorado.gov in a positive direction."
Mr. Jenik has conducted business in more than 30 countries and serves on the board of directors of TAEUS International Corporation and Kayon Corporation. Jenik sits on the volunteer Board for the AeA Mountain States Council and is also a member of the Downtown Colorado Springs Rotary Club International.
"I appreciate the opportunity to continue to serve on the Statewide Internet Portal Authority board as we bring solutions to help the citizens of Colorado access the Government more efficiently and effectively," said Jenik.
Mr. Jenik will serve as a member of the Statewide Internet Portal Authority board of directors until June 2010.
