Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care Breathes Life into Online License Renewals at http://www.Kentucky.gov

FRANKFORT, KY – January 18, 2008 – The Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care’s online service breathes new life into its annual licensing renewal process. Respiratory care professionals no longer need to fill out and mail in their renewal paperwork. Now Kentucky’s respiratory care professionals may renew their license online at the Commonwealth’s official Web site (http://www.Kentucky.gov) or directly at the agency’s site (http://www.kbrc.ky.gov).

“We are delighted to provide our constituents with a new online renewal process,” said Peggy Lacy Moore, the Executive Director of the Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care. “Our online service brings an unprecedented level of ease and convenience to the licensing process. It is our goal that the online renewal option will not only save time for our respiratory care professionals, but also create efficiencies for the Board.”

The online renewal service allows the Board to process a renewal in a fraction of the time. For the 2008 renewal season, respiratory care professionals can verify and edit their required license information, enter continuing education credits online, and pay the renewal fee with a MasterCard or Visa. The online license application was created through a partnership with Kentucky’s Board of Respiratory Care and Kentucky.gov.
